Cocoa is a dark brown powder made from the seeds of the cocoa tree. They are cleaned, sorted, fermented, roasted, hulled, crushed and degreased. It comes in the form of lumps, bars and paste. The most popular is cocoa powder, which in turn can be natural or alkalized.

Application

Cocoa is an extremely important ingredient in baked goods and confectionery. Used, among others, to make chocolate, drinks, cakes and ice cream. At home, you can sprinkle it on porridge, desserts or add it to cakes.
