FSSC 22000 certification enables organizations to use the standard to meet the requirements of global retail chains or leading food companies under a single, internationally recognized food safety management system throughout the food supply chain. FSSC 22000 certification is fully recognized by the GFSI Global Food Safety Initiative, an organization dedicated to evaluating and comparing international food safety standards, and is treated by the organization on par with IFS or BRCGS certification.
